Living with uncertainty

This essay explores some of the problems with the data that we have, and why we should be cautious about reading too much into the curves we see bending on our screens.

The point is not that data is unimportant, but it can be faulty, and incomplete - as we definitely know is the case with testing here in the United States.

There are daunting challenges ahead of us regardless of the curve.
